Absolutely Worth the Price – Next-Level Smart Lighting
These lights might be a bit pricier than other LED strips, but trust me, there’s a reason for that. Govee knocks it out of the park with brightness, customization, and ease of use. The setup was fast and simple, and I was able to connect and control everything right from my phone without any hassle. The color settings are insane — you can create custom scenes, sync with music, or group them with other Govee lights for a full smart-home vibe. Definitely one of the best lighting upgrades I’ve made!

Grovee is the best when it comes to LED’s/RGB’s (I’m not paid or was given a free product for this review). This is a honest review.Good durability, you can be a bit rough it holds up.Colors are perfect tone and bright.So many variety of settings and modes with the app!Really sticky so be careful with the adhesive, you can redo placements so don’t be to concerned about messing up. I messed up and had to redo a few placement areas.Remote control works perfectly.I literally have no complaints, my gaming setup look great!

Great Lighting Effects, Adhesive Could Be Better
The Govee Lightstrip has really good color options and smooth effects. Setting it up through the app was straightforward, and the range of customizations makes it easy to match the mood of any room. The brightness and responsiveness are solid, and it works well with smart home setups like Alexa.My only complaint is the adhesive. It sticks fine at first, but after a few days, some sections started peeling, especially around corners or textured surfaces. I had to reinforce parts of it with extra adhesive strips to keep it in place.Overall, the quality of the lighting makes it worth it, but the mounting could definitely be improved.

Add Personality to Your Room
The Govee RGBIC LED Strip Lights are a great way to add color to a room or create some ambient lighting in your space. Not only are they kind to your bank account, but they have a ton of features that you will love! This set doesn’t come with a remote but you can use the app on your phone to control the settings. We have multiple Govee devices and they are all controlled within that one app which is nice because we don’t need multiple remotes. The LED strip lights are easy to install, fit our space perfectly and have bright vibrant colors. There is a music-sync mode as well as scene modes that you can use to set the tone for your room. We enjoy changing the colors to match our favorite sports teams when we are watching the games on tv. We love these lights!! *Just a note, make sure that the surface you are installing them on is clean and dust free so the adhesive sticks.

So far, best LED’s I’ve owned!
I might update this later with pics but Govee is the best! I’ve had random LED strip lights before and they didn’t have so many effects or color display options! I really love that you can make your lights display multiple colors at once so you can create a gradient not only when changing colors but even during regular (static) color display. You can save color combos too! If you want lights that sync to music I’d but these they were really well synced to my voice and also to music even when playing it from my phone. The adhesive sticked pretty well. I didn’t have to use any tape to help reinforce any not-so-sticky areas. I think they were made well too all the connections seem well protected compared to other brands. I will be buying in more Govee lights in the future, lights are so fun! 😁

Poor Bluetooth range but good lights and app versatility
We love that these are the kind you can program each segment (by 1ft sections) with whatever color you want, this is exactly what we were looking for. And the adhesive seems to be good so hopefully will last a while.I will mention the lighted length is less than stated, the length noted includes about 2.5 ft of lead cord (not including another 3 ish feet of the power cord) so we were short about 1.5 feet in our application as we knew what we needed was 15ft, so in theory the 16.5ft should have been enough. Next time I would buy the next length up and cut the excess (where you can cut on the designated spots).No remote is a big downfall in my opinion, when most other brands it seems standard, but the app on your phone is great. Almost overkill for what we need but what you can do on the app seems endless so that will appeal to many people. One of the app downfalls is the app/device only works when your phone is within about 3-6ft of the plugs central control unit, which is not ideal. I can program the things my kid wants and walk away and it will still work, but if he wants to change anything I have to walk back to his room and stand next to the plug,, then reconnect to the device, it is a huge pain. So the range is very poor compared to other simple Bluetooth items we have in the house that we can operate from across the house. (Think bitty boomers, Bluetooth headphones etc, all have no issues working across the house). Had i known the Bluetooth range was so bad I would have paid the higher price for the wifi version. Another issue with the app is that it only works with your location kept on (and can only locate the device to pair when the location is turned on in your phone). This is not the norm when it comes to Bluetooth devices and I am not a fan. I can understand that to initially pair the device using the location would be helpful, but the location should not have to be on constantly in order to use this device. I will also mention the product pages on Amazon says these are 3 pin but you can see from the product images itself its 4 pin (for those who want to go the connector route on corners etc).

Everything you need is clearly laid out—LED strips, power supply, controller, adhesive backing, and an instruction manual that’s actually easy to understand. Installation was much easier than I expected. The adhesive is strong and reliable, yet it didn’t damage my walls when I repositioned a section (which was a nice surprise). Within 15–20 minutes, I had the lights set up around my desk and behind my TV. They stuck well, and the flexible strip design made it easy to get around corners without any hassle.App Control & Smart Features:This is where Govee really shines (pun intended). The app is intuitive, full-featured, and very responsive. I love how many customization options are available—there are dozens of preset scenes, color options, brightness settings, and dynamic modes. Whether I’m in the mood for a chill ambient glow or something lively and colorful for parties or gaming, the app lets me switch things up instantly. The music sync mode is especially impressive—the lights pulse and shift colors in perfect time with whatever I’m listening to, and the built-in mic actually works well, even in noisy environments.Integration with Alexa and Google Assistant was seamless. I can control the lights with voice commands now, which is super convenient when I’m relaxing or don’t want to grab my phone.
